Avian Influenza
1. Germany reported 4 H5N1 HPAI outbreaks in wild birds
On July 7, Germany reported 4 outbreaks of H5N1 HPAI in wild birds in Hamburg State, resulting in 4 wild birds infected and died.
2. Poland reported 1 H5N1 HPAI outbreak in wild birds
On July 10, Poland reported 1 outbreak of H5N1 HPAI in wild birds in ?ód? Voivodeship, resulting in 500 wild birds and backyard poultry infected, 60 deaths, and 440 culled.
3. Nigeria reported 1 H5N1 HPAI outbreak in poultry
On July 6, Nigeria reported 1 outbreak of H5N1 HPAI in poultry in Bauchi State, resulting in 1,400 poultry infected, 560 deaths, and 840 culled.
4. Honduras reported 1 H5 subtype HPAI outbreak in wild birds
On July 6, Honduras reported 1 outbreak of H5 subtype HPAI in wild birds in Copán Department, resulting in 31 wild birds infected and died.
5. United States reported 3 H5N1 HPAI outbreaks in poultry
On July 10, the United States reported 3 outbreaks of H5N1 HPAI in poultry in Utah and 2 other locations, resulting in 3,103 poultry culled.
6. Australia reported 2 H5N1 HPAI outbreaks in wild birds
On July 10, Australia reported 2 outbreaks of H5N1 HPAI in wild birds in New South Wales and one other location, resulting in 2 wild birds infected and died.
7. Philippines reported 8 H5N1 HPAI outbreaks in poultry
On July 10, the Philippines reported 8 outbreaks of H5N1 HPAI in poultry in Pampanga Province and 2 other locations, resulting in 308 poultry infected, 230 deaths, and 232 culled.
8. Nepal reported 9 H5N1 HPAI outbreaks in poultry
On July 7, Nepal reported 9 outbreaks of H5N1 HPAI in poultry in Bagmati Province, resulting in 4,909 poultry infected and died, and 7,685 culled.

1. Spain reported 5 Newcastle disease outbreaks
On July 6 and 10, Spain reported 5 outbreaks of Newcastle disease in Castile and León, resulting in 6,975 poultry infected and died, and 457,000 culled.
2. Bhutan reported 1 rabies outbreak
On July 6, Bhutan reported 1 outbreak of rabies in Chukha District, resulting in 5 domestic dogs infected and 1 death.
3. Turkey reported 6 rabies outbreaks
On July 6, Turkey reported 6 outbreaks of rabies in Van Province and 4 other locations, resulting in 4 cattle and 6 domestic dogs infected and died.
4. Moldova reported 2 rabies outbreaks
On July 10, Moldova reported 2 outbreaks of rabies in Ialoveni District and one other location, resulting in 1 domestic cat and 1 goat infected and died.

On July 10, Croatia reported 5 outbreaks of peste des petits ruminants in Bjelovar-Bilogora County and one other location, resulting in 85 goats and sheep infected, 35 deaths, and 1,725 culled.

On July 10, Namibia reported 2 outbreaks of heartwater in Kavango Region and one other location, resulting in 4 cattle infected.
14. United States reported 2 New World screwworm outbreaks
On July 10, the United States reported 2 outbreaks of New World screwworm in Texas, resulting in 1 sheep and 1 cattle infected.

On July 6, South Korea reported 6 outbreaks of serotype O foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) in North Gyeongsang Province, resulting in 24 cattle and 14 domestic pigs infected and culled.

On July 6 and 10, Greece reported 16 outbreaks of SAT1 FMD on the island of Lesbos, resulting in 1,144 sheep infected and 23,000 culled.
17. Lesotho reported 1 SAT1 FMD outbreak
On July 7, Lesotho reported 1 outbreak of SAT1 FMD in Leribe District, resulting in 6 cattle infected.
18. South Africa reported 36 SAT1 FMD outbreaks
On July 10, South Africa reported 36 outbreaks of SAT1 FMD in North West Province and 4 other locations, resulting in 214 cattle infected and 6 deaths.

1. Hungary reported 18 ASF outbreaks in wild boar
On July 6, Hungary reported 18 outbreaks of African swine fever (ASF) in wild boar in Nógrád County and 2 other locations, resulting in 25 wild boar infected and died.
2. Italy reported 37 ASF outbreaks in wild boar and 1 in domestic pigs
On July 6, Italy reported 37 outbreaks in wild boar and 1 in domestic pigs of ASF in Emilia-Romagna and 2 other regions, resulting in 37 wild boar and 5 domestic pigs infected and died.
3. Croatia reported 33 ASF outbreaks in domestic pigs
On July 6 and 10, Croatia reported 33 outbreaks of ASF in domestic pigs in Virovitica-Podravina County and one other location, resulting in 84 domestic pigs infected, 40 deaths, and 1,145 culled.
4. Poland reported 43 ASF outbreaks in wild boar and 1 in domestic pigs
On July 6, Poland reported 43 outbreaks in wild boar and 1 in domestic pigs of ASF in Greater Poland Voivodeship and 5 other locations, resulting in 69 wild boar infected and died, and 774 domestic pigs infected with 20 deaths.

On July 7, Lithuania reported 34 outbreaks of ASF in wild boar in Taurag? County and 2 other locations, resulting in 38 wild boar infected and died.
